Ray-Ban Meta glasses, merging iconic design with advanced AI technology, are now available for pre-order in India starting today on Ray-Ban.com, with general sales commencing May 19. Priced from INR 29,900, the glasses will be sold online and at leading optical and sunglass stores nationwide, offering users a hands-free way to stay connected and engaged with their surroundings.
AI-Powered Features for Everyday Life
Integrated with Meta AI, the glasses respond to voice commands via
“Hey Meta,” enabling users to ask real-time questions, stream music, take
calls, or go live on Instagram and Facebook. Travelers and language learners
will appreciate the real-time translation feature, supporting
seamless conversations in English, French, Italian, and Spanish—even offline
with pre-downloaded language packs. Simply say, “Hey Meta, start live
translation,” to bridge communication gaps, with translations displayed or
heard via linked smartphones.
Timeless Designs with Modern Flexibility
The collection includes the classic Wayfarer (in standard and
large sizes) and the new inclusive-fit Skyler model in Shiny
Chalky Grey. Options span sun, clear, polarized, and Transitions® lenses, all
compatible with prescription lenses.
Enhanced Experiences via Meta AI App
The newly launched Meta AI app syncs with the glasses,
allowing users to resume AI conversations, edit photos (add/remove elements),
and manage content. Future updates will enable hands-free Instagram DMs,
including sending photos, audio, and video calls. Users can already message via
WhatsApp, Messenger, and native iPhone/Android apps, ideal for commutes or
outdoor adventures.
Music and Entertainment On-the-Go
Expanding music integration, the glasses will soon support Spotify,
Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Shazam. Ask Meta AI to play tracks, identify
songs, or queue up genres like Bollywood hits.
