Birmingham, July 6: Shubman Gill etched his name into cricketing folklore with a monumental performance, powering India to a colossal team total on Day 4 of the Edgbaston Test against England.
Gill amassed a staggering 430 runs across both innings – the second-highest individual aggregate in Test history, trailing only Graham Gooch's 456. His epic knock included twin centuries (150+ scores), making him only the second batter ever (after Allan Border) and the first Indian captain to achieve this feat in a single Test.
