New Delhi, July 16, 2025: Kia India has electrified the mass market with its first affordable EV – the Carens Clavis EV – starting at ₹17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric MPV offers up to 490km range and three variants, challenging hybrid rivals and electric SUVs alike.

Two battery options (42kWh/51.4kWh) with 135PS or 171PS motors. Charges 10-80% in 39 mins (100kW fast charger).

Competes with the BYD eMax 7, hybrid MPVs (Toyota Innova Hycross), and electric SUVs like Hyundai Creta EV and Tata Curvv EV.
