The Procter & Gamble Company announced Shailesh Jejurikar, currently Chief Operating Officer, will become President and CEO, effective January 1, 2026. Current CEO Jon Moeller will transition to Executive Chairman. This planned leadership change, confirmed in Cincinnati, aims to build on P&G’s recent strategic transformations and sustained growth, ensuring continuity and continued value creation for the global consumer goods giant

The leadership transition, effective January 1, 2026, is part of a deliberate plan by P&G's Board to ensure sustained success and seamless continuity. Joe Jimenez, Lead Director of P&G’s Board, lauded outgoing CEO Jon Moeller for his "strategic leadership and guidance," crediting him with a "pivotal role in designing and implementing P&G’s integrated portfolio, superiority, productivity and organization strategy." Jimenez noted that under Moeller, "The Company has continued to consistently deliver strong growth and value creation." This structured succession allows Moeller to continue providing advice and counsel as Executive Chairman, leading the Board of Directors, while enabling a fresh perspective at the helm.

Shailesh Jejurikar, who joined P&G in 1989 and has been a member of its global leadership team since 2014, is poised to take the top executive role. Jimenez expressed the Board’s "confidence" in Jejurikar, citing his "substantial contributions across multiple businesses and in both developed and developing regions," including Fabric Care, Home Care, and Enterprise markets. Jejurikar has consistently delivered strong results and helped lead key operational areas like Supply Chain, Information Technology, and Global Business Services. Jejurikar stated, “I am honored to serve as P&G’s CEO.
